Dating back to the 12th century, this Yorkshire stone inn makes for a lovely setting in which to dine. The building has been lovingly restored by owners Paul & Liz Jackson, who run the place with great pride. Paul is in the kitchen crafting a multi-course tasting menu that exhibits Japanese influences across creative and technically accomplished dishes. The intimate, cosy atmosphere – the dining room houses just five tables – and the addition of four splendid bedrooms all help to make The Hare an appealing destination for a weekend getaway.
