The ceiling adorned with superb frescoes by the school of the Carracci brothers (important 16C artists from Bologna) is just one good reason to choose this restaurant, while the cuisine is another. Here, young, talented chef Agostino Schettino serves cuisine influenced by the whole of Italy which he reinterprets with a modern twist. He offers a particularly interesting tasting menu dedicated to Bologna (“La Dotta, la Grassa e la Rossa”), which includes regional specialities such as classic tortellini in Parmesan cream made from cheese that has been aged for 36 months.
