La opinión de la Guía Michelin
Off the beach at Nilaveli, this idyllic islet has creeks with calm, clear waters, ideal for family swimming. The whole island is designated as a national park. Its coral reefs were severely damaged by the 2004 tsunami and rising water temperatures continue to harm this ecoysystem; despite this, its colourful fish make it one of the best spots for snorkelling and diving on the east coast. Harmless little sharks and sea turtles can sometimes be spotted here.
